By accessing or using the Home Title Alert service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Home Title Alert provides automated monitoring of public county records to detect changes in property deeds, titles, and ownership records. Monitoring is powered by IrisĀ® Powered by Generali. While we strive to provide accurate and timely information, we cannot guarantee the absolute real-time accuracy of public records, as county recording times vary.

3. Subscription and Billing

The Service is billed on a subscription basis (Monthly or Yearly). Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your billing dashboard or by contacting support.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Home Title Alert, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
  • Any content obtained from the Service; and
  • Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Our service provides alerts based on public records and does not constitute legal advice or an official title insurance policy. You should always consult with a legal professional regarding property disputes or suspected fraud.

5. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

7. SMS Messaging & TCPA Consent

Home Title Alert uses text messaging to send automated account notifications to customers who have opted in. By providing your mobile phone number and checking the SMS consent box on our website, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from Home Title Alert at the number provided, including:

  • A welcome confirmation text when you activate property monitoring.
  • Alert notifications if our system detects any changes to your property's title, deed, or ownership records.
  • Customer support follow-up messages related to your account or inquiries.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on account activity and detected property record changes.

Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to Opt Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent. To re-enable SMS alerts, contact us at support@hometitlealert.org.

Consent Not Required: Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from Home Title Alert.
